The School of Chemical and Process Engineering is seeking to recruit a Teaching Fellow to focus on the development and delivery of the undergraduate mathematics provision within the School. This is an opportunity for a talented, motivated individual to make an impact on student education with research-led teaching of mathematics with applications to chemical, energy and materials engineering.
Your role will involve developing the resources and delivering the teaching of engineering mathematics focused modules through lectures and tutorials, coursework and examination assessment. You will make an important contribution to further modules with mathematics-related software, ensuring students receive an outstanding educational experience.
You will have experience of teaching of mathematics with engineering applications in a Higher Education setting. In addition to being able to demonstrate enthusiastic and effective teaching skills and a range of delivery techniques and assessment methods, you will demonstrate excellent team working skills with an ability to work in a cross-cultural team and possess excellent communication skills.
