We welcome academics with experience in teaching Business: ECONOMICS, FINANCE, BUSINESS ANALYTICS (any field considered for the MBA) to apply in support of our growing programmes:

• Staffordshire University BSc (Hons) International Business Management and Marketing Management programmes;
• Staffordshire University Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme integrates business education with innovative AI-based teaching methods.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

(Essential)

• PhD or Doctoral qualifications (or currently enrolled in a PhD or Doctoral programme for Associate Lecturer position) and Master’s degree in a relevant discipline area from an internationally recognized institution.
• University or undergraduate teaching experience in a related field having taught programmes where instruction is 100% English.
• Sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline to develop teaching programmes and the provision of learning support.
• Knowledge of higher education and ability to use a range of up-to-date delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students.
• In-depth understanding of own specialism to enable the development of new knowledge and understanding within the field.
• Research experience.
• Evidence of high-quality publications in research or practice.
• Understanding of equal opportunity issues as they may impact on academic content and issues relating to student needs.
• Clean police record.

(Desirable)

• Evidence of (CPD) and/or professional industrial membership.
• Evidence of excellent teaching identified by peer review.
• Experience of living and working in Vietnam or Asia
• Experience of teaching, curriculum development and quality assurance and enhancement in an HE environment.
• Evidence of a positive impact at a discipline or programme level beyond own teaching
• Higher education teaching qualification, recognition, accreditation, or willingness to work towards this.

Degree, teaching certificates, medical check and CRB or other police checks will be required for work permit purposes. Original copies will be required on arrival in Vietnam.
