An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Systems Administrator to join the College of Science and Engineering Administration Team.
In this role, the postholder will report to the Infrastructure Lead and is responsible to oversee, manage and maintain the Colleges IT infrastructure, specifically to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems, including servers, storage, networks, and security.
As well as being involved in the normal operations for the infrastructure and data centres, the the successful candidate will also play a key role in the implementation of new working practices through development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), IT work-packages, server upgrades and vulnerability/patch management.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and is offered on an open ended (permanent) basis.
