Teesside University subsidiary company, TU Enterprise & Innovation Ltd, has launched an on-site franchise branch of Unitemps recruitment agency for students and graduates. The unique ethos means a brilliant working environment which is driven by improving the campus and student experience. It is an exciting and different kind of business in the recruitment world, combining a student employability ethos with a professional approach. 

The role

Together with the Student Futures team, this role will lead the Unitemps agency to deliver an inspiring, agile, and enterprising service to meet the needs of both students and employers. Supported by the Unitemps franchise network, the post holder will grow and develop this successful business, providing temporary staffing solutions to internal university departments and externally with commercial clients in Teesside and Tees Valley using a creative approach which will articulate how the university can fill graduate skills shortages across the Region and beyond to meet the changing labour market demands.

As the head, you will play an integral part in driving forward an innovative, holistic, student-centred approach to delivering the best opportunities for students as well as  lead the growth of this organisation, taking responsibility for the full spectrum of development and marketing activities. You will expand operations and raise awareness of Unitemps as a brand. You will be responsible for motivating your team to provide effective recruitment solutions aligned to the individual needs of students and achieve targets.

The way in which you lead is just as important as the deliverables, we are seeking a collaborative, emotionally intelligent leader who can instinctively pick up on the nuances of how businesses and teams operate.
