Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK Programme (10KSB) is committed to fostering a vibrant alumni community of entrepreneurs, innovators and business leaders. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Alumni Manager to join our team and drive engagement initiatives that empower our alumni network. The Alumni Manager will collaborate closely with the Senior Alumni Engagement Manager and the Alumni Support Administrator to orchestrate a dynamic calendar of events and activities for our esteemed alumni. From in-person gatherings to virtual webinars, the Alumni Manager will play a pivotal role in nurturing connections and facilitating lifelong engagement within our community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement an engaging alumni engagement strategy in collaboration with the Senior Alumni Engagement Manager and our esteemed client, Goldman Sachs.
  • Research and secure speakers and topics for events, fostering collaboration opportunities with faculty to enrich event content.
  • Maintain and enhance our alumni platform, 10KSB Connect, in partnership with the Senior Alumni Engagement Manager and external providers.
  • Utilise Salesforce CRM system to expand alumni community data and mailing lists, responding to data requests and managing post-event surveys.
  • Forecast and manage event budgets in collaboration with the Senior Alumni Engagement Manager, ensuring financial compliance and accurate reporting.

You should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, evidenced by your ability to foster and sustain relationships with alumni and organisational contacts. You must also have a proven track record of organising and executing high-quality events and webinars, along with success in customer-facing roles. Additionally, you should demonstrate proficiency in gathering feedback and implementing innovative changes to enhance alumni engagement.
