About the school
The School of Education and Sciences at the University of Gloucestershire is a thriving and exciting environment to work in. The post-holder will primarily be based at the Oxstalls campus in the Sports Therapy team.
About the role
The post holder will contribute to teaching across the SST accredited Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. This includes students across the years (from first to final year students). The post-holder will be engaging and innovative lecturer and practitioner who shares our student-centred approach. They will be able to offer a high standard of support and be proactive in making a positive contribution to the student experience and employability. A willingness and flexibility to contribute to aspects of the Sports courses (e.g. Sport Sciences/Research) more broadly would be an asset.
Applicants should offer a sound understanding of practice that values evidence. The applicant will be joining a team that all practices clinically and is engaged in research. A willingness and interest in contributing to therapy related research strengths which include: injury prevention, evaluation of practice and practitioner education.

Applicants must be a memberor be able to achieve membership with the relevant body (e.g. SST, BASRAT, CSP/HCPC). From September 2025, the School of Education and Science will be relocating from its current premises to the City Campus, a new development for the University that will be a focal point of Gloucester City, and a modern centre for teaching learning and community partnerships.
