The Faculty of Human, Social and Political Science IT team are recruiting a Chief IT Technician to work as part of the Front-line IT Services Team.
The Chief IT Technician will help provide local, friendly, and effective first and second line support to all the Departments we support in our City Centre institutions. Responsible for resolving a broad range of IT service requests, being the first point of escalation within the team for technical issues, you will ensure that end-user support requests are triaged, resolved, or escalated as required.
As an experienced IT technician, you will also be first technical contact for in-house systems for Front Line Services, liaising with the Development and Infrastructure team to maintain, manage and develop these systems.
