We are seeking an innovative Research Information Analyst to join our Research Policy and Information Team (RPI) within Research and Knowledge Exchange Services (RKES). Passionate about enabling informed decision-making and ensuring the responsible assessment of research, you will support Strathclyde’s R&KE ambitions through provision of robust reporting and analysis, system and process design, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with the Research Information Manager, key areas of work include: regular reporting on progress towards the University’s strategic goals with a focus on research-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); fulfilment of research funder reporting requirements (including supporting annual Researchfish submissions and institutional preparations for research assessment exercises such as REF 2029); contributing to the ongoing improvement of Strathclyde’s research information system (Pure); and development and maintenance of systems for monitoring and reporting on research and knowledge exchange activity.
With proven experience in a relevant setting, you will have excellent data analysis skills, experience of systems management and development, experience with implementing data protection legislation, and be able to communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role (remote and on-campus working), The standard requirement across the University is that at least three days per week will be spent working on campus (with flexibility as appropriate).
