The Skoll Centre, which sits within Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, has a 20-year history of equipping entrepreneurial leaders for impact within and beyond business. We are seeking an Operations and Finance Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Centre's operations. Reporting to the Deputy Director, the incumbent will oversee various aspects including event management, budgeting, administrative processes, HR needs, and other operational activities.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day non-academic operations and administration, aligning with the Centre's strategic goals.
Ensure all internal resources, including IT systems, finance, HR, and events are optimised for effectiveness.
Manage the Centre’s budget and financial processes, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Contribute to strategic planning and translate strategy into actionable business plans.
You should possess extensive experience in organisational and financial management, as well as demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on performance optimisation. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of effectively managing teams and a demonstrated ability to manage operational costs.
