The opportunity
As we continue to expand our programme of art and design short courses, UAL seeks to expand its teaching pool. Explore our flexible opportunities across a diverse mix of design disciplines.
As a Tutor you will be entrusted with delivering high-quality learning experiences in various specialist art and design subjects, aiming to inspire and actively engage students within a nurturing and collaborative atmosphere. Working collaboratively with the UAL Short Courses Team, you will support the continual development and refinement of course content, providing enriching and educational experiences.
We are particularly interested in hearing from practicing professionals at the forefront of their industry, eager to share new skills and experiences with our students. If you offer expertise in any of the following, we would like to hear from you.

About you
Drawing upon your previous experience in teaching and training, you will have the ability to plan and deliver an inclusive series of sessions that both develop and engage learners. You will enjoy the process of integrating your own specialism and style, bolstered by a solid understanding of the industry or subject field. You will be confident in working with diverse age groups, cultures, and perspectives, skilled in fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
We are UAL Short Courses
UAL Short Courses (UALSC) is part of the University’s department of Academic Enterprise which leads the University of the Arts London’s commercial educational operations. There are 100 staff and 1,500 hourly paid staff in Academic Enterprise, which is integral to the University’s long-term development.
