An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join the School of Education and Lifelong Learning to teach and support the development of students’ professional, Lifewide and entrepreneurship skills on its undergraduate courses.
We seek to appoint an academic who will also work closely with the Schools’ Directors of Employability and Learning and Teaching, as well as Course Directors to develop and promote entrepreneurial and Lifewide education and related scholarship. In addition, the role will also involve liaising with the School’s Workforce Development Officer and Placement Coordinator to identify and support students’ work-based learning opportunities. You will have scholarship and teaching expertise in professional skills, employability, enterprise and entrepreneurship for Higher Education students.
Our undergraduate courses currently feature in the top 5 (PE and Sport, Complete University Guide) and the top 35 (BA Education, Complete University Guide) of national league tables. They are supported by first-class education and sport facilities at UEA and by a strong team of research active academics in the fields of digital education, child development, health and wellbeing, physical education, sports coaching, learner identity and international education, as well as engaged in scholarly activity and professional sector consultancy.
This full-time post is available from 1 August 2024 for a fixed-term period of 2 years.
