Job Summary
The Department of Chemical Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to support an exciting new research project with Petronas on corrosion science and engineering.
The successful candidate will work with a team of research fellows and research students, providing project management and support.
This post is a part-time role of 0.4 FTE, initially 12 months in the first instance.
Duties and responsibilities
Essential requirements
A Ph.D. in a science or engineering discipline, and/or significant industrial experience or experience within a higher education work environment is required.
A management or project management qualification is desirable but not essential.
Experience in corrosion based research highly desirable.
Further Information
You can start immediately and ideally no later than by 1st May 2024. The contract will run for up to 10 months until 28 February 2025 in the first instance, with the possibility of extension subject to research funding. The post is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London (South Kensington Campus).
*Salary on appointment will be limited to £45,344 per annum (pro rata).
