Founded over 60 years ago, the College of Engineering is at the forefront of agricultural engineering teaching and research in China.
We are proud of our outstanding reputation and the big impact we have made on agricultural engineering in China. We have inspired technological advancements, written a wide range of influential research papers and developed the skills of some of the country’s leading agricultural engineers. We also continue to deliver one of the country’s oldest agricultural engineering courses.
Highly collaborative, our multidisciplinary approach to research covers a broad range of topics while we also work closely with our industrial partners to improve the impact of our research and the relevance of our teaching. As we aim to grow in size and reputation, we are looking to recruit more talented professors, lecturers and associate lecturers.
We have five departments that bring together the key branches of engineering. We are also home to a post-doctoral research station, a key discipline doctoral base for agricultural engineering and a provincial laboratory of agricultural technology and engineering. We offer a great environment in which to develop your research and a rewarding academic career in agricultural engineering.
At the College of Engineering, we push the boundaries of science and technology in such areas as agricultural machinery, mechanical engineering, project management and transport and vehicle engineering
An ambitious Higher Education institution, we aim to provide modern international agricultural engineering courses that keep pace with the latest developments in science, technology, economics and culture. Home to around 6,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, our 716-acre campus is green, quiet and picturesque. Conveniently located in Nanjing in the Pukou area between the Yangtze River and Lao Shan Mountain, our campus is the ideal place for study and research.
As ongoing national and regional development projects create new opportunities and a growing demand for talent, our College is expanding all the time. Our campus is situated at the heart of the national development district Nanjing Jiangbei where large-scale improvement projects are transforming transportation and leisure facilities.
Agricultural development has always been a priority area for the Chinese Government. As national projects such as ‘Made in China 2025’ are significantly investing in advanced agricultural equipment, this is a very exciting time for us. We have full support from the Government to develop and expand.
To support our growth and enhance our learning experience, we are looking to attract and recruit outstanding academics from around the world who share our values and passion for agricultural engineering. We can offer you attractive benefits, exciting new challenges and the opportunity to help shape a better future for agricultural engineering in China.
