Who we need & what you will bring
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Maths department for a motivated and inspirational teacher to join our Maths team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of motivating students and raising attainment in Maths across a range of vocational areas. Our Maths team deliver Functional skills and GCSE courses, enabling our students to build their confidence, develop their skills and subsequently gain an improved Maths qualification. At Nottingham college, we are aware of the importance of Maths and the crucial role it plays in facilitating social mobility by giving our students the opportunity to progress in their vocational qualification and ready them for future employment.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and be a proactive and motivated individual.
The role will involve the need to be adaptable, have a student-centred approach, and involve collaboration with colleagues across the college to ensure our students have the best opportunities to make progress and succeed. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Maths and excellent subject knowledge.
