Digital Transformation Project Manager

SALARY & HOURS: 

Band 6 £56,855 - £62,996 depending on experience

12 month FTC

The Digital Transformation programme will deliver fit for purpose enterprise-wide connected solutions with the associated change process. It will establish foundations for future growth and development by providing solutions across Professional Services and Academic disciplines that ensure the University can function in the most efficient and productive way, whilst ensuring that the student experience is second to none.

The Project Manager will play a significant role in supporting the University’s strategic aims by delivering the future way of working and systems used for the administration, governance and reporting of the overall student journey, and in shaping the future of all departments directly involved in these activities. This will entail bringing expertise in systems project and change management to determine requirements, to assess and design best practice processes, and to plan and deliver data-driven solutions, streamlined reporting and analysis and exceptional services for our Students.

Required knowledge and experience include:

• Educated to degree / equivalent level, or with directly relevant business skills and qualifications
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the Higher Education Sector
• Demonstrate expertise in data management, process design and reporting to be able to shape and influence developments, resolve problems where there is a lack of precedent, and be innovative and creative to develop and implement appropriate options.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to make informed recommendations and decisions on data integrity, processing and controls to ensure complete, accurate and compliant information and processes
• A strategic and commercial mindset and understanding of data analysis
