Business Manager - Medical Technology

About the opportunity:

We have an opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the Physical Sciences & Engineering team as a Business Manager. The individual we are seeking will be working on the growing portfolio of medical technologies that are coming out of UCL’s extensive research base. This is a unique opportunity to take up a Business Manager role within a leading technology transfer company supporting one of the UK’s top research-led universities and working collaboratively with academic staff, shareholders and other professionals.

What you need to have:

You will have at minimum a postgraduate degree in a healthcare engineering or life science related discipline and be able to demonstrate experience and success in technology commercialisation. Previous MedTech and university technology transfer experience would be helpful but is not essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who has the negotiation, communication and organisational skills necessary to identify and develop early-stage technology commercialisation projects.

What we offer

A competitive salary of £48,000 to £55,000 depending on experience and qualifications.  In addition, the company operates PRP, generous holidays and pension schemes and private healthcare.
