We're seeking a reliable and experienced mechanical technician to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operations, we want to hear from you!

In this role you’ll carry out routine, planned and reactive mechanical maintenance duties, fault diagnostics and repairs to a wide range of mechanical systems to ensure our customers receive a high quality, efficient response, and service. You’ll also work on minor installations for all mechanical services throughout the University.

In addition to a competitive base salary of up to £32,982 per annum, you’ll receive a market supplement of £2,000 per annum.

As a member of the Late/Weekend Shift, you’ll also receive a generous shift allowance (17% of your basic hourly rate) to compensate for working late shifts and at weekends Typically, the working pattern would be 8 days of up to 10-hour long in any 14 day period with a 36.5 hr week covering the hours 13:00 to 23:00 Monday to Friday and 07:30 to 18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
