About the role

The School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Leicester is hiring an Associate Professor to join their team. The successful candidate will join a cooperative and friendly atmosphere, working hard alongside ambitious staff and students to deliver high-quality teaching and research. You will be expected to undertake teaching, tutoring, and project supervision across a range of mathematics and statistics courses, as well as supporting the development of new programmes and courses in mathematics.

About you

With a PhD and an established international reputation as a scholar, you will be able to demonstrate research and teaching achievement in your field of expertise. You will be able to evidence this through publications in peer reviewed journals and other relevant outputs, with a clear forward plan for your research that complements the existing specialisms within the school. 

With a track record of training and mentoring research students and experience of building effective collaborative relationships, you will have a commitment to high quality teaching, ensuring our students get the best experience possible.
