The University of Cambridge Sports Service is looking for a self-motivated and skilled administrator to join our friendly and vibrant Department.
The role holder will coordinate the administrative/office functions (including associated policies and procedures), HR systems and committee activities of the Sports Service. They will also act as an Executive Assistant for the Senior Management Team.
The role includes:
Applicants should have experience of coordinating office/administrative functions, developing administrative processes and standard operating procedures, and supporting committee secretaries and Senior Managers. They should also have experience of HR procedures, including use of recruitment and HR systems. They should be educated to HND or HNC level, hold a level 4/5 vocational qualification, or have the equivalent practical experience.
The role holder will need excellent administrative, clerical, IT and communication skills (verbal and written) and be able to work proactively using their own initiative to prioritise work.
