Applications are invited for the above fixed-term part-time (0.8) post working within the School of Psychology and Sport Science. The appointee will lead a small programme team comprising staff from the Psychological Therapies Training Team within BCUHB, working closely alongside the NWCPP Programme Director and will have specific responsibility for leading the Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma courses in CBT. These courses are newly commissioned by Health Education and Improvement Wales. Whilst the programmes have received validation the successful applicant will have a major role in developing the programmes ensuring a vibrant and effective learning experience and liaising effectively with key stakeholders
The successful candidate will be appointed and employed directly by the University on the Grade 9 scale. Hours of work will be 80% FTE.
The successful candidate will have PG Diploma in CBT or equivalent, accredited CBT therapist with BABCP and substantial post-qualification training in cognitive behavioural therapy.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible as the first cohorts of students will commence in September 2024. The appointment is fixed term until July 2029.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
