Working with a team of student engagement professionals within the Learning & Teaching Academy you will be allocated school/s to support. The post holder will be responsible for supporting student voice practices working closely with the student voice leads from within the school/s, and the University’s communications team. This includes providing oversight and support to a variety of student voice feedback mechanisms, analysing student feedback and enquiries to identify trends and provide guidance, working with colleagues in the school/s to ensure feedback is acted upon, and providing support to communicate outcomes to students where required.  

In addition, the post holder may provide other specialist support in relevant areas which support enhancement of the student experience, working with colleagues across the institution to act on student feedback. 

As a key member of the School’s Professional Services team, this role will involve working closely with students, school teams, School Manager/s, Academic Lead/s for Student Voice, and the Student Voice Manager within the Learning and Teaching Academy. With strong links to the Student Communications Team, and as a member of a network of Student Engagement Officers across schools, the role will ensure that local, thematic and institution-wide issues and opportunities are responded to. 

We have three vacancies available, two at full time 1FTE (35 hours per week) and one part time vacancy at 0.5FTE (17.5 hours per week) – please note whether you are interested in a full time vacancy or the part time vacancy in your application. 

These are fixed term positions, available until 31 July 2025.

Salary: £32,332 - £34,980 per annum, pro-rata for part-time hours (Grade 5). Appointments will usually be at the bottom of the scale.
