About School of Computer Engineering and Science, Shanghai University

In May 1988, " School of Computer Science by Shanghai University of Technology and Shanghai University of Science and Technology " was founded, it is the first computer school in Shanghai universities. In May 1994, the new Shanghai University was established as the "School of Computer Engineering and Science of Shanghai University". it has been selected for many times in a row The Shanghai Municipal Education Commission focuses on the construction of disciplines and successfully completed the third phase of the "211 Project" key discipline construction. Shanghai University's "Computer and Information Systems" discipline has always been ranked among the top 300 in the QS global rankings, and the QS ranking of Shanghai University's world-class disciplines has been among the top 200. The ESI global subject ranking of computer science is 1.787%. The school has around 120 faculties, 136 Ph.D. students, 604 master students, and 1360 undergraduates.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in scientific research, strive to lead or be responsible for national and provincial-level projects, and actively write high-level academic papers and monographs.
  • Closely follow the forefront developments in the discipline, actively participate in discipline planning and construction.
  • Take on undergraduate education and teaching tasks, guide graduate students according to the relevant regulations of the school and college, and offer special lectures in the cutting-edge areas of the discipline.
  • Undertake or participate in teaching reform, curriculum reform, and laboratory construction, actively strive to lead projects on teaching reform, the construction of core course groups, and the development of high-quality courses.

Requirement:

  • A successful candidate must have obtained a PhD degree from an internationally renowned university.
  • A successful candidate must have relevant assistant teaching and lecturing experience in a leading university.
  • A successful candidate must have excellent research foundations of his/her own research directions, such as having published papers in top international journals and conferences in the field of computer science, and playing a key role in national or provincial-level scientific research projects.
  • A successful candidate should focus on our main research directions, including Intelligent Technology and Systems, Data Science and Applications, Novel Architectures and High-Performance Computing, Intelligent Information Processing and Services, Software Theory and Network Security
