About the role:
An NIH (National Institutes of Health) funded Research Associate position is available to join the laboratory of Marco Trizzino in the Department of Life Sciences, based at the South Kensington Campus.
What you would be doing:
The Trizzino lab employs induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) differentiation and functional genomics to study developmental gene regulation, with particular interest for human craniofacial and neural development, as well as human neurodegeneration.
The main focus of the position will be to investigate the contribution of human-specific transposable elements to these processes.

This position is offered full-time and fixed term for up to 60-months (the contract will be renewed annually as per NIH policy).
Appointments are typically made to the first spine point of the scale.
Applicants who have not yet had their PhD degree awarded will be appointed to the Research Assistant scale.
