Variable Hours Supply contract
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated member of staff for a position as supply lecturer in the Hairdressing team, to work alongside academic colleagues as part of the delivery of our full-time classes, covering periods of staff absence. You will be based at the UHI Inverness main campus.
This role presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys teaching and learning to join an experienced and diverse team. You will be required to deliver curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on best practice in the teaching of topics relevant to your role. You will be required to be an effective team member able to deliver a high-quality curriculum and educational experience.
Key Accountabilities:
The suitable candidate must have a good working knowledge of current Hairdressing practices. You should also be flexible, reflective, innovative, creative, and personally committed to continuing vocational and professional development.
You do not need to have a teaching qualification to apply as training will be provided, however some experience of instructing or teaching is welcome. You should possess effective interpersonal skills and have good IT skills in applications such as MS Office and other relevant subject related software packages.
