Are you passionate about working with data and using it to improve processes and decision-making in a dynamic higher education environment? We are seeking a highly motivated and inquisitive Student Data Analyst to join our Student Data Management (SDM) team.
Working closely with the Student Data and Returns Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of student data across University systems. From maintaining and validating datasets to supporting statutory reporting (e.g. HESA, HESES, HEE), your analytical mindset and attention to detail will contribute directly to the University’s ongoing transformation and commitment to excellence.
About you
You will have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for accuracy. You are confident working with large datasets using systems such as Excel, and ideally have experience using a student records system like SITS.
You will be someone who is methodical, proactive, and not afraid to ask the right questions to get to the root of an issue. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with colleagues across different departments and external stakeholders.
Your professionalism and commitment to high-quality service will ensure data is managed responsibly and confidentially, in line with regulatory and University requirements.
