Assistant Professor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Dubai Campus)
Following the continued growth of student numbers and our imminent campus extension, we are delighted to be expanding the academic team at our Edinburgh Business School Dubai Campus with a number of new roles. We are looking for academics seeking a new challenge and who are passionate about delivering high-quality, accessible, practice-oriented education and research that promotes responsible business.
Applicants must have a Doctoral qualification and experience of teaching and course management. Successful candidates will be expected to have published their research in high quality journals and be committed to building their research profile. Successful candidates will also be expected to develop strong links to colleagues at the Edinburgh and Malaysia campuses to deliver high-quality learning and teaching, to contribute to the continued development of the programmes offered to students, and to develop external engagement endeavours.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in logistics and supply chain management. They will be able to evidence how they have developed research-rich teaching and integrate professional practice into the classroom. Successful candidates will be expected to undertake supervision of research projects at all levels of study.
You must be experienced in teaching in the following areas:
Preference will also be given to those candidates who have experience of working in a UK HE institution with a sound understanding of quality assurance processes.
