The Opportunity:
The University of Edinburgh invites applications for a Chair of Molecular Reproductive Biosciences, based at the Centre for Reproductive Health (CRH) in the Institute of Regeneration and Repair (IRR). The successful candidate will be a discovery scientist, with an outstanding academic research record appropriate to the level of appointment, both reputational and in publications, who will:
The CRH is an interdisciplinary research and teaching hub, bringing together internationally renowned scientists and clinicians to push the boundaries of knowledge in reproductive biology and its practical applications in medicine. Based at the IRR within the Edinburgh BioQuarter, the CRH research themes include ‘gonadal function and fertility’, ‘translational gynaecology (including reproductive cancers)’, and ‘pregnancy and early life’.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is £77,386 to £90,816 per annum, pro rata if part time.
