This is a career development position and is fixed term for two years.
An LSE Fellowship is intended to be an entry route to an academic career and is deemed by the School to be a career development position. The LSE Department of Health Policy aims to advance knowledge and understanding of health care systems through undertaking post-graduate and executive teaching, and through research and scholarship at the highest international quality standards to the benefit of the international and national health policy community.
The post holder will contribute to the scholarship and intellectual life of the Department and LSE by conducting teaching and research which will enhance the School’s reputation as a research-led teaching institution. They will contribute to teaching on all programmes in the Department Health Policy.
Candidates should have completed or be close to completing a PhD in health policy, health economics or health services research, by the post start date.
A developing research record in health policy and excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
Candidates will also have a strong commitment to equality and diversity and fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
