The role

The EDI Team are specialists who partner with colleagues across the institution to ensure our university is a place for everyone - regardless of background or circumstance – and that diversity of people, perspective and experience is valued and respected.  

What will you be doing?

The Administrator will provide dedicated support to the Head of EDI and support the work of wider team objectives as required.  They will lead on the development of digital resources on public-facing web pages and in SharePoint; maintain digital resource libraries; and support various working groups and formal committees.  As the first point of contact, they will regularly review the shared team mailbox, responding to routine enquiries and escalating complex queries as appropriate.  

You should apply if

You will have a broad range of skills that will ensure the delivery of a high standard of administrative support to the EDI function.  Expertise in SharePoint is essential to this role, as well as an understanding of how EDI relates to the wider staff experience and an awareness of the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.  You will have outstanding organisational and communication skills and be able to work in a busy and demanding environment.
