Lecturers in Business and Management (Full-time)

Bloomsbury Institute

Closing date: Friday 23 May 2025 at 17:00

Bloomsbury Institute is a higher education provider, regulated by the Office for Students, and we deliver undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Business, and Law. This includes 3-year standard and 2-year accelerated degrees.

All our degrees are validated by Wrexham University. We have redesigned all our degrees to have a more practice-based focus, full details of which are available at: www.bil.ac.uk/courses/.

We seek to appoint two full-time Lecturers in the area of Business & Management. We welcome applications from candidates who will be committed to growing the success and development of our dynamic, fast-expanding business school.

We are especially keen to receive applications from applicants with subject-knowledge in either Sustainable Business or Entrepreneurship. Previous experience as practitioners in either of those domains would be of particular interest. The successful applicants will be able to deliver a high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as contribute to our research and enterprise activities.

We expect candidates to demonstrate:

  • The ability to carry out core activities in the areas of teaching and learning, knowledge transfer and professional practice, demonstrating institutional impact in your discipline.
  • A willingness to engage and take on academic management roles for your own personal development and community impact.
  • A willingness to contribute to and co-create vibrant professional learning communities to develop and enhance the student experience and to maximise graduate outcomes.

We offer:

  • The chance to work with a highly motivated, vibrant and international team of academics.
  • Excellent opportunities for your professional development, including access to our in house “In Bloom” programme to facilitate achievement of AFHEA and/or FHEA awards.
  • The opportunity to contribute to the development of the curriculum.
  • Strong organisational links to professional bodies including the CMI, CIPD and BAM.
  • Research & Enterprise development opportunities.
