Are you a communications professional, passionate about using your skills to improve health and care for everyone? Do you want to be part of a national network supporting the delivery of health and care research across England, working across communication disciplines?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the NIHR Research Delivery Network (NIHR RDN) where you will plan, coordinate and deliver multi-channel targeted communications to support projects and campaigns aimed at a variety of audiences. These include the Network, the NHS, patients and the public and NIHR customers including the life sciences industry.
You will be responsible for delivery of communications for a variety of projects and channels including digital, media, events, internal communications and promotional materials. In addition, you will work closely with the NIHR Communications Office.
With an excellent eye for a story and attention to detail, you will have strong verbal and written communication skills to turn often complex information into effective news stories and digital content. You will need brilliant interpersonal skills to be able to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels to enable efficient business delivery.
The role reports into one of the Senior Communications Managers. They will deliver their own communication projects and support the Communications Managers on key communication programmes. The role holder will work closely with other members of the RDN Communications team and cross NIHR to support and deliver the organisations objectives.
This role will be based in the RDN Coordinating Centre (RDNCC) office on Queen Street, Leeds. We work in a hybrid way with an expectation that all RDNCC staff spend at least 40% of their time office. We are also open to discussing other flexible working arrangements.
