About the Role
The role holder works with the Chief of Staff and the Executive Officer to provide 360° executive support to the President and Principal and collaborates with other team members to support the overall effectiveness of the wider executive team.
The role holder is responsible for providing high-quality executive assistant support to the President and Principal and will act with integrity, ensuring that professional and quality service standards are consistently maintained and applied within the role, and to work collaboratively with the Business Manager to ensure a seamless service across all the Executive Assistants that support the University’s Senior Executive Team (SET).
This is a busy role in a demanding, fast-paced environment, and the postholder will be expected to exercise sound judgement and utilise their independent judgement, acting with complete discretion at all times.
About You
You will have demonstrable experience in a senior Executive Assistant role within Higher Education, delivering excellence in the provision of support services at C-Suite level. You should bring experience in the organisation and servicing of complex meetings, experience handling difficult situations with tact and sensitivity and maintaining absolute confidentiality at all times and experience of organising complex itineraries and associated visa/tickets/documentation for national and international travel. You should be comfortable developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff at all levels and working in a matrix structure with direction being provided by multiple colleagues.

The President and Principal and other members of the University’s Senior Executive Team are responsible for the day-to-day leadership and the strategic direction of the University. They are supported by Executive Officers, the Business Manager and Executive Assistants working under the leadership of the Chief of Staff.
