We are seeking a full time experienced Lecturer/Biomedical Scientist to join the Applied Science team at Wrexham University. You will teach across a range of modules on both our UG and PG Biomedical Science courses and work closely with our partners at the Maelor Academic Unit of Medical & Surgical Sciences, ensuring student learning and teaching is consistent across multiple sites.
About the Role:
Within the role you will contribute to curriculum development, pedagogical innovation and research to enhance student learning. The role also requires you to undertake project supervision, marking, and recruitment related activities to promote growth of the courses. The role also involves close collaboration with our partners on teaching and research.
About You
You will have experience of leading and teaching modules across the core areas of Biomedical Science and posses skills both in classroom and laboratory teaching. We would be particularly interested in candidates with experience of the professional frameworks (IBMS). The post holder should be a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with expertise in microbiology. Additional knowledge in the areas of immunology, hematology and genetics are also key.
