Senior Lecturer in Sport and/or Exercise Rehabilitation

Package: Research Teaching and Enterprise grade 8 from £59138 to £66537 per annum. Subject to annual pay award.

The School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Sport and/or Exercise Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will contribute to research, innovation, and teaching, with a focus on Rehabilitation Science in a Sport and/or Exercise context.

The successful candidate will lead and deliver educational and student experience activities across our MSc programmes in Sport Rehabilitation, Exercise Rehabilitation, and/or Strength and Conditioning. They will hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field, and will be internationally recognised for their academic excellence, with a substantial body of original work in high-quality publications and significant experience in supervising researchers. Additionally, they will have a clear research and innovation plan that aligns with the University's Research and Innovation core plan. This plan should demonstrate their drive and area of expertise and highlight how they intend to develop and translate knowledge and practice in this area. It should also align with the strategy of the National Rehabilitation Centre and/or the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine.

We are also particularly interested in people who bring expertise in one of the following areas:

• Musculoskeletal Injury Rehabilitation
• Strength and Conditioning Science
• Clinical Exercise Physiology
