Leeds City College is seeking an experienced and passionate Programme Manager (English, Maths & Personal Development) to join the School of Hair, Beauty, and Media Makeup. Our department offers a diverse range of study programmes and apprenticeships for students aged 16-18 and 19+, supporting those who aspire to build successful careers in the Hair and Beauty industry.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage the English, Maths and PDBA team, ensuring high-quality delivery and a strong focus on attendance, engagement, and student success. You will also drive improvements in Personal Development, Behaviour, and Attitudes (PDBA), breaking down barriers to learning and fostering a positive, inclusive educational experience. Your leadership will be key in aligning our provision with the departmental QIP and Luminate key strategies to maximise student achievement.
Our courses range from Level 1, designed for learners with little or no prior experience, through to Level 4 programmes, which prepare students for higher education or supervisory roles within the industry.
The team brings a wealth of industry expertise, skills, and knowledge, which enriches our teaching, learning, and assessment processes. As Programme Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our students receive an exceptional learning experience, equipping them with the skills and confidence to succeed.
