Are you a forward, creative thinker with a passion for digital communications?
We have a perfect opportunity for a communications professional looking for a part-time, flexible role with a varied workload in a supportive and friendly team that delivers high quality, meaningful work. This is a 3 day per week job share for around 14 months covering alumni and development communications in the University Advancement Communications team.
While one of our incredibly valued team members is away, this full-time role has been split into two parts for a job share: marketing and communications. The marketing role is already filled, and we now need someone who will be the ideal complement to cover the everyday content for alumni and development audiences on our website and social media. The substantive role covers digital communications and marketing for alumni of the University of Cambridge: creating website content, running social media channels, newsletters and email marketing, plus a myriad of other things within the field of alumni communications.
This is a great time to join the Advancement Communications team, as we launch a new alumni social media channel and refresh our social media strategy, as well as starting to plan for the next fundraising campaign.
This is a fixed-term role to cover parental leave, starting on 1 July and ending in around September 2026, or when the post holder returns from their leave.
This role is based in central Cambridge. We practise a hybrid working model and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the office on Wednesdays.
