Reports to: Senior Consultancy Manager (Behaviour & Society)
UCLC is seeking a Consultancy Coordinator for a full-time role within the company.
This is a stimulating and varied role which will support the growth and delivery of projects by UCLC working with world class academic experts. Through this role, candidates will bring UCL’s expertise to life and support the academic experts in making an impact for the benefit of business, government and society.
The post holder will support UCL experts by taking responsibility for identifying consultancy opportunities and service propositions, supporting client relationships, liaising with leadership for decisions on pursuing consultancy opportunities, identifying appropriate resources to lead, supporting the development of proposals, costing and pricing, and acting as a ‘go to’ resource for matters relating to consultancy and UCLC.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and liaison skills to maintain a high level of service to all stakeholders, strong interest and/or experience in the academic environment, aptitude to identify consultancy opportunities, create and manage client relationships, identify resources to deliver, and support the development of proposals, including their commercial aspects. Ideally they will also have some specialist knowledge relevant to the research or teaching activities at UCL. This role is well-suited for a recent postgraduate seeking to develop industry experience, or for an individual with industry experience interested in working with academia
They will be part of a Business Development team but must also be able to work independently.
