Are you passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential through high-quality vocational education? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Programme Manager to lead and develop our Vocational Studies Level 1 programmes here at Keighley College.
As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of our Level 1 Vocational Studies provision. This includes ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across multiple vocational pathways. You will lead and support a team of tutors, monitor student progress, and drive forward curriculum innovation to meet the needs of diverse learners.
1. Manage and coordinate the Level 1 Vocational Curriculum Pathways
2. Manage activities and strategies to ensure the high retention, achievement, success and attendance rates for identified courses are reached
3. Develop the curriculum and maximise destination led learning
4. Work with all members of the team to implement and oversee quality assurance processes
The ideal candidate will hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed or equivalent) and have a relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or higher.
You will have experience of teaching and managing vocational programmes at Level 1 and have strong leadership and team management skills to motivate staff
You will have a commitment to inclusive education and supporting learners with varied needs and excellent knowledge of quality assurance processes in further education.
