The post
The Faculty wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the work of Dr Lisa Price. This Waterloo foundation funded post is available from 1 August 2025 to 31 July 2026. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with several different schools and approximately 200 pupils to assess physical activity and mental health outcomes in an adolescent population.
The post will include being responsible for liaising with schools, recruitment of participants, undertaking physical activity and ecological momentary assessment data collection, and management and analysis of data. They will also be expected to contribute dissemination material including academic publications and dissemination to schools.
About you
The successful applicant will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.
Applicants will possess a relevant PhD (or nearing completion) or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes. Applicants will be able to communicate effectively with schools, pupils, and parents. Demonstrate an understanding of physical activity and mental health measurement, and possess good data management skills.
