Are you looking for an exciting, varied and rewarding role supporting student mental health and wellbeing?

As our Mental Health Case Worker, you will be a proactive and enthusiastic professional who is qualified in mental health and can demonstrate your abilities in supporting students in higher education when they face mental health and wellbeing challenges.

You will work within the multidisciplinary Mental Health and Wellbeing Team, which includes other Mental Health Case Workers and Trainee Counsellors, to address the needs of students who struggle with a range of mental health and wellbeing issues. Interventions include one-to-one talking therapy, as well as the delivery of group work, online workshops and events and campaigns. In addition, you will play a role in safeguarding and protection of vulnerable students, through direct intervention, or through signposting or referring to specialist services. 

As an advocate for student success, you will possess a demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage a diverse caseload, as well as act as a duty worker on a rotational basis. You will have an ability to document and establish systems for receiving and tracking cases. 

This role is a part-time, permanent position.

This role requires satisfactory clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) at an enhanced level. 

The majority of work will be on campus, with some hybrid working from home based on business need.
