Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) London is a student-centred, teaching-focussed provider of undergraduate and postgraduate education. Based in East London, very close to the East India Docklands Light Railway station, ARU London has a student population of over 6,000 students studying subjects related to Business and Management; Finance and Accounting; Health and health care; Events, Hospitality and Tourism; and Law.
Continued growth in demand for our student-focused courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team through the addition of associate lecturers in Law.
We are looking for associate lecturers with sector experience and a solid grounding in all aspects of Law who will be able to teach across a diverse range of modules (undergraduate and/or postgraduate).
Our ideal candidate will have a wide suite of subject knowledge and be flexible enough to work on some evenings and Saturdays, in addition to normal Monday to Friday sessions. Above all, they will be inspirational, supportive, with a passion for developing our students. All employees will be required to teach face-to-face in our buildings located in East India, a short walk away from either “East India” or “Blackwall” DLR stations.
If you are enthused with your subject, motivated by helping students develop their professional knowledge and skills, share our belief in the transformational nature of education, are capable of working in a high-tempo environment, and wish to be rewarded for your teaching excellence, then we would like to talk to you about opportunities at ARU London.
You will be qualified to the appropriate academic and/or professional level and have appropriate sectoral experience. Higher qualifications are desirable.
You will have fellowship of The Higher Education Academy (HEA), or be committed to gain fellowship of the HEA.
To apply, please forward your CV with a cover letter to: Academicresourcing@london.aru.ac.uk (via the 'Apply' button above).
