We are looking for eager, motivated and resourceful individuals to join our busy team within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
About the role
You will play a vital role, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the department office and providing advice, support and information.
Key elements of the role include providing administrative and operational support to the Head of Department with the responsibility for co-ordinating core Department activities including HR and finance matters and providing full secretarial support for a number of department committees.
This varied and interesting post also includes co-ordinating recruitment and staff induction activity, support for Faculty based teams, departmental events, enquiry management, overview and allocation of Departmental space and management of operational relationships with Professional Services colleagues across the University.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours) per week permanent basis.
