Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) London is a student-centred, teaching-focussed provider of undergraduate and postgraduate education. Based in East London, very close to the East India Docklands Light Railway station, ARU London has a student population of over 6,000 students studying subjects related to Business and Management; Finance and Accounting; Health and health care; Events, Hospitality and Tourism; and Law.
Continued growth in demand for our student-focused courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team through the addition of a lecturer in international project management.
We are looking for a lecturer or senior Lecturer with sector experience and a solid grounding in all aspects of project management. The ideal candidate will have a detailed grasp of the contemporary environment of, issues facing, and approaches to, international project management execution. Successful applicants will be employed to lecture on a range of project management modules, including, but not limited to, major projects generally, and projects relating to health and social care, accounting and finance, hospitality and tourism, and marketing. Familiarity with digital communications is essential.
Our ideal candidate will have a wide suite of subject knowledge and be flexible enough to work on some evenings and Saturdays, in addition to normal Monday to Friday sessions. Above all, they will be inspirational, supportive, with a passion for developing our students. All employees will be required to teach face-to-face.
If you are enthused with your subject, motivated by helping students develop their professional knowledge and skills, share our belief in the transformational nature of education, are capable of working in a high-tempo environment, and wish to be rewarded for your teaching excellence, then we would like to talk to you about opportunities at ARU London.
You will be qualified to a minimum of Master’s Degree level in a relevant discipline, and doctoral qualifications are desirable. A strong grounding in industry will be an advantage, together with fellowship (or commitment to gain fellowship) of the HEA.
Suitably qualified candidates will be considered to lead our MSc Project Management course.
