Applications are open for a Clinical Research Associate/Fellow position to work on a mechanistic clinical trial of a novel immunomodulatory therapy in patients with cardiovascular involvement in rheumatological disease, using non-invasive multi-modality cardiovascular imaging and immune profiling.

You will be based at the Victor Phillip Dahdaleh Heart & Lung Research Institute (VPD-HLRI) at the University of Cambridge, with research undertaken at the VPD-HLRI, Cambridge University, and Addenbrooke's Hospital.

Our research is at the forefront of the field, connecting ground-breaking discovery science with cutting-edge clinical and experimental medicine trials in a collaborative and innovative research environment. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who wishes to undertake a dedicated period of research training and contribute to an exciting and ambitious research programme.

Candidates must be medically qualified clinical trainees (pre-CCT) who are registered or eligible to register with the GMC in the UK. Successful applicants will be able to pursue a higher degree with the University (MD or PhD) as part of their research training.
