We are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to join our team in School of Infection & Immunity.
The post-holder will contribute to a portfolio of funded research which employs neuroimaging to better understand mechanisms of symptoms important to patients with inflammatory diseases, such as pain, depression and fatigue. Specifically, the job requires fundamental experience of MRI brain analysis.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor Neil Basu [Principal Investigator]. They will be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and proposals as well as help deliver our imaging projects.
The role will provide numerous career development opportunities for individuals motivated to work within an interdisciplinary team dedicated towards discovering new solutions for people with clinical unmet needs.
This post is full time, and has funding for up to 2 years from start date (funding ends 30/09/27).
