The department of Economics is seeking a new Lecturer.

About us

The department of Economics at the University of Bath promotes a vibrant research environment through our dynamic research groups. 

Following a recent restructuring exercise, research is organised through five main groups:

1. Macro, Money, and Finance
2. Microeconomic Theory
3. Public and Political Economy
4. Applied Economics: Labour, Education and Health
5. Sustainable Development.

About the role

The successful candidate will be expected to: 

• produce high-quality and impactful research
• be passionate about research collaboration, with both internal and external partners (at national  as well as international level)
• deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level 

We invite applications from candidates with:

• strong potential (evidence of promise) for publications in leading Economics journals 
• evidence of some high-quality and innovative teaching; and 
• ability to teach a range of topics in core areas of Economics
