This post is open-ended and part-time for a minimum of 88 hours per annum (3hrs per week).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lifelong Learning Tutor – Access (Geology) to work within the University.
The successful candidate will assist the Widening Participation & Lifelong Learning (WP&LLL) team in taking forward the portfolio of Access and / or Open Learning courses. They will effectively and efficiently undertake a range of duties associated with teaching, assessment and associated administration to contribute to meeting learning and teaching objectives in Lifelong Learning.
This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Lifelong Learning to help deliver our Access Geology classes to students from widening participation and non-traditional backgrounds. The classes are taught online via Zoom on a Thursday evening, 1830-2030, with the exception of two in-person lab sessions in semester 1 (usually late November) which are held on campus. Classes run over 2 x 11-week teaching blocks starting in September and January. Two hours of preparation/administration time are paid for every two hours of teaching, with additional payment hours for marking assessments.
