HR Co-ordinator

University of the West of Scotland – People & Wellbeing Department

Paisley Campus

Full time: 35 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR coordinator to join our People & Well-being team. This role will involve managing the administration of various HR processes and procedures within the department. The post holder will be the first point of contact for a range of HR matters received by the Director of People & Wellbeing’s office, providing advice, guidance and support. You will also provide an effective and efficient PA service to the Director of People & Wellbeing, which includes diary management. Supporting a wide range of departmental stakeholders with project and committee co-ordination, the role will be involved in the administration of a broad spectrum of areas including recruitment, reward and recognition and colleague forums.

The successful candidate should have the following:

  • Educated to HND level or equivalent significant HR administrative experience.
  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential data/information.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HR policies and procedures for the delivery of a high level of service.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel,
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.
  • Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to forward plan, prioritise and organise work schedules to meet set timescales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
