As a Disability Officer, you will provide a full range of efficient and effective support interventions to disabled students, to support their retention & achievement whilst at the University, and progression onto graduate level careers. You will provide a range of guidance and information sessions, triaging and developing individual action plans of reasonable adjustments, supporting funding applications including internal assessments where appropriate.
You will work within the University’s processes and Frameworks of support to meet agreed targets and objectives in line with business planning needs and sector good practice and legal compliance. As part of the role you will act as a Liaison Officer, developing relationships and working closely with student experience leads in one/two institutes.
The majority of work will be on campus, with some hybrid working from home based on business need.
