This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Technical Instructor to join our Clinical Skills team. This role is ideal for a newly qualified paramedic or nurse looking to transition into an educational setting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering clinical skills and simulation-based training sessions, maintaining simulation equipment, and supporting learners in developing their clinical skills.
The role holder will be part of a team that provides a highly efficient technician support service to internal and external stakeholders. Working collaboratively with academic staff and skills technicians the role holder will plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate clinical and professional skills sessions and simulation related activities across a range of undergraduate and/or postgraduate health and social care courses. This includes demonstrating equipment, and ensuring equipment is regularly maintained. The role holder will also provide a comprehensive programme of skills instruction and coordination of the timetabling/ scheduling of teaching activities.
We also provide technical instructor support for the healthcare courses in Dudley.
